Booking & Payment
How do I book?
Browse to any property page and click 'Check Availability & Book'. You'll be taken to our secure Hospitable booking flow to enter dates, see real-time pricing, and pay.
Why book direct instead of Airbnb or Vrbo?
Booking direct skips the platform's service fee (typically 12-15% of the reservation). You also get a direct line to us as the host — no support tickets, no call centers.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards via Hospitable's secure checkout. For longer stays or corporate bookings, we can invoice — reach out to Nathan directly.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are shown on the property's booking page before you confirm. They vary slightly by property and length of stay; for most short stays, free cancellation is available up to 7 days before check-in.
Do you offer discounts for longer stays?
Yes — most properties offer automatic weekly and monthly discounts. The longer you stay, the better the per-night rate. Several of our properties are popular for mid-term stays (30+ days) for traveling nurses, business travelers, and people in between homes.
Your Stay
What time is check-in and check-out?
Standard check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 10:00 AM. Some properties may vary slightly — confirmed times appear on your booking. We can sometimes accommodate early check-in or late check-out depending on the calendar; just ask.
How do I get into the property?
Self check-in with a keyless smart-lock code. You'll get detailed arrival instructions (plus the WiFi password and local recommendations) the day before your stay.
What's provided?
Linens and towels. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap). Kitchen basics (coffee, oil, salt, pepper, cookware, dishes, glassware, basic spices). Trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels. Iron, ironing board. Hair dryer.
Is parking included?
Yes for most properties — either on-site, in a private driveway, or in a designated lot. Specifics for your property are in the pre-arrival instructions.
Is the WiFi fast?
Yes — every property has high-speed internet suitable for remote work, video calls, and streaming.
Guests, Pets & Events
Are pets allowed?
Some of our properties are pet-friendly with prior approval and a small pet fee. The property page indicates this. If you don't see your property listed and want to bring a pet, just ask — sometimes we can accommodate.
Are events allowed?
Events (parties, gatherings beyond your reservation party) are not permitted at our short-term rental properties — but the Barn in the Burgh is specifically licensed and set up as a daytime event venue.
Can I rent the Barn in the Burgh for a party?
Yes! The Barn doubles as an event venue for daytime gatherings — birthdays, baby/bridal showers, family reunions, small celebrations. $300 base for the first 4 hours, +$75/additional hour, $100 cleaning fee. Includes 10 round tables and 80 chairs. Book via barnintheburgh.com.
What's the maximum guest count?
Each property has a listed maximum capacity (sleeps 2-12 depending on the property). The Barn seats up to 80 for daytime events.
Area & Logistics
How far is the airport?
Evansville Regional Airport (EVV) is 15-25 minutes from most of our properties. We can recommend ride services or rental car desks at the airport.
Are you close to the hospitals?
Our Newburgh properties are within 5 minutes of Deaconess Gateway Hospital. Our downtown Evansville properties are within 10 minutes of Ascension St. Vincent and Deaconess Midtown. Several of our properties are popular with traveling nurses and visiting family.
Is your area safe?
Yes. Our properties are in well-established neighborhoods that we hand-picked. Specifics about parking, lighting, and street activity for each property are in the property description and pre-arrival message.
